Itinerary

Day 1Arrive Siem Reap (Dinner)

The appointed tour guide will welcome guests at Siem Reap International Airport then transfer for sightseeing.

  • First we will pay a visit to Tonle Sap Lake (largest inland body of water); Enjoy the spectacular views as you cruise along the Lake, which enables you to see the fascinating fishing village, one of Asia’s largest fishing villages.
  • Next visit to Artisans D’Angkor , to discover the traditional Khmer techniques used for stone and wood carving, lacquering and gilding.

Day 2Seam Reap (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast, we will start our sightseeing to Angkor Wat.

  • Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom. The fortified city of Angkor Thom (Great Angkor or Great City), was built by Angkor’s greatest king, Jayavarman VII (1181 – 1219).
  • Sat at the heart of Angkor Thom, the giant faces of Bayon have become one of the most recognizable images connected to classic Khmer art and architecture.
  • Visit the Terrace of the Elephant, Terrace of the Leper King, Phimeanakas and Baphoun.
  • Proceed to visit Ta Prohm – a temple in its ‘natural state’. Surrounded by jungle, its labyrinth of stone hallways is overgrown with the roots and limbs of the massive Banyan trees which envelope the stones like tentacles.
  • Afternoon, visit the World Heritage – Angkor Wat, the largest temple in the world, was built by King Suryarvarman II from 1113 – 1150AD when the Khmer civilization was at the height of its development.

Day 3Siem Reap - Phnom Koulen (Breakfast, Dinner)

After breakfast, proceed to Kulen Mountain (about 50km north of Siem Reap town).

  • Visit waterfall, the tropical rain forest.
  • There are two main waterfalls in Phnom Kulen:
    First waterfall: 4-5 meter tall and 20-25 meter wide during the dry and rainy seasons respectively. Second waterfall: 15-20 meter tall and 10-15 meter wide during the dry and rainy seasons respectively.

  • Chup Preah,is the plain spot where having cool water flows and is located at the mountain’s valley. At Chup Preah, there is a big Buddhist statue and many other small statues made during 16th century.
  • Linga 1000, is located on the mountain, along the Siem Reap River and has a lot of figures of Yoni and Linga spreading out at the bottom of the river.
  • Terrace of Sdach Kum Ling, is a plain terrace having a small ruined temple made of solid brick at the middle; the study proves that the terrace was covered by lava for hundreds of years.
  • Preah Ang Thom (The Magnificent Reclining Buddha). It is an 8 meter tall statue of the reclining Buddha reaching nirvana. The statue is carved into a huge sandstone boulder.
  • Afternoon return to the town and visit Old Market / Pub Street.

Day 4Depart Siem Reap (Breakfast)

Assemble as per agreed schedule at hotel’s lobby for pre-arranged transfer services to the airport, flight home with “AN AMAZING HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE IN CAMBODIA”.
